DataOrganizer Beta

Available on TestFlight

What is DataOrganizer 2025.0?

DataOrganizer is a personal database for macOS. Version 2025.0 is the next version of DataOrganizer. It is currently in beta. DataOrganizer’s goal is to act as a modern replacement for FileMaker's discontinued Bento package.

How can I join the beta?

(Note: As with any beta, this version may exhibit more bugs than a typical release. For existing users, the new DataOrganizer first needs to import data from the old format. For those that prefer, such data can first be backed up by following the instructions in the FAQ.)

The current beta is available on TestFlight. No email address is required.

Do I need to be an existing user of DataOrganizer?

No. The paywall has been disabled for the TestFlight version. The beta is available for everyone.

What versions of macOS are supported?

DataOrganizer 2025.0 supports macOS 15 Sequoia, macOS 14 Sonoma, and macOS 13 Ventura.

Does a help system exist for the beta?

See the Help menu in DataOrganizer, which has been updated for the beta version. Since forms and fields are the heart of the app, a direct link to that particular page in the help book is also listed in the Help menu. In addition to menu items, the search bar in the Help menu can also be used to search the help book.

Can I send feedback for the beta?

Absolutely. Choose “Send Feedback” from the DataOrganizer app menu. (Alternately, send me an email.)

For bugs, please include as much information as you can remember regarding the crash, such as the events that occurred right before the crash. In addition, please include the following information if the report is not sent using “Send Feedback”. (“Send Feedback” automatically adds this information to the message’s subject.):
